Deadline for registration has been extended

Since we’ve had a lot of interest in the Claim Your Story Conference,  on OCTOBER 19, I’ve spoken with Lithia Springs Resort catering department and we can extend the deadline and include room for several more participants.

So if you’ve been hesitating, please contact me via the registration page or email at jessicapage(at)spiritone(dot)com. I was just talking with a participant and we’re both looking forward to Lidia Yuknavitch’s workshop on voice. I’m also looking forward to connecting with Alissa Lukara again and hearing her talk. But then, come to think of it, we’re looking forward to all of the events as well as spending time in the lovely Ashland area. In autumn. And a quick reminder, if you’re not from southern Oregon there are still plays ongoing at the Shakespeare Theater Festival.

Because we all have a story in us.

When: October 19th

Where: Lithia Springs Resort, Ashland, Oregon

This will be the first annual Claim Your Story mini conference. I currently coordinate and teach at two other conferences, Summer in Words held every June is Cannon Beach, Oregon and Making it in Changing Times, held the last  Saturday in January each year in Portland. I’ve been teaching writers since 1991, have written books for writers, work as a developmental editor and writing coach, and in all I do encourage people toward expression and creativity.  Because as Murial Rukeyser said, “The universe is made of stories, not of atoms.”

Stay tuned to this site for the schedule, interviews and updates.
